Our finished portraits are the highest quality available. We include basic retouching for all portrait orders and we don't charge extra for it. We want you to have exactly what you want. We won't make you fit into a predetermined package. Your Portrait order starts with an initial commitment of $300. Order the portraits you want in any size, of any finish you prefer, of any pose you choose. Select a Composite or Art Portrait for that really personal touch.

YEARBOOK PHOTOS are FREE with any portrait order, and we assume the responsibility of delivering them to your school.

CLASSIC SESSION $49.

We'll start with your Classic Session.

This is perfect for your yearbook, close-up and three-quarter poses. The Classic Session includes one outfit and your choice of several different backgrounds. Images are captured in color, but our digital gurus can convert them to black & white.

ADD-ON SESSIONS

Want MORE Choices, MORE Poses & MORE Outfits?

Choose from our ADD-ON Sessions. These sessions are a great way to add to your CLASSIC session. Each one allows extra clothing changes. We have so many artistic and creative ideas we would love to share. We also encourage your input! Have an idea or a pose you want to try? We'd love to photograph it.

Head Shots $15.

Need a few more close-up poses? Just add $15 for each additional outfit. These can be in color or our digital gurus can transform them into B&W.

 

Studio Casuals $25

Anything goes! Add more three quarter or full length poses. Bring your favorite items for a personal touch. Collections and props are part of you and they show your involvement in extra activities. As long as it fits through our door we can most likely photograph it.

 

Friends $25.

Bring someone special to share in your senior fun! We suggest that if you are going to be photographed with a friend, coordinate your outfits so they complement each other. More friends? Just add $5 for each additional person and get the whole group together! Just let us know ahead of time so we reserve enough time.

The Great Outdoors $35.

For the nature-lover in you! We'll take you to area parks with colorful trees or flowers for a natural, relaxed look.

 

On Location $50.

Want that really personal touch? We'll go to your home, or you choose a location within 10 miles of the studio. This is a great way to give YOU a look that is unique and all you!

 

Pets - In Studio or Outdoors $50.

We'd love to photograph you with your pet or even your horse! Just call first to make arrangements. No snakes or cats in the studio, please!

The key to the success of your portrait lies in preparing for your session. The more prepared you are, the easier it will be for you to be relaxed, look better, and end up with a portrait you & your family and friends will cherish. Together we'll choose from a variety of backgrounds, sets & props, but our emphasis will be on YOU. Our personal approach is what will make your photographs unique.

Classic Portraits

For the first outfit, you'll want to choose something that won't be outdated in just a few years. Suits and sweaters work well. Solid colors or very subtle prints are best in medium or darker tones. Long or 3/4 sleeves are the best choice. If you are not sure what to wear, bring an extra outfit or two and we'll help select what will photograph the best.

Girls - Select outfits with necklines that complement you. If your face is full, scoop or V necklines work well. High necklines are flattering on someone with a long neck and slender face. Avoid dark turtleneck collars. Accessories such as earrings & necklaces are great, but avoid flat, reflective jewelry.

Guys - Shirts with ties, sport coats or suits will give a classic look. Don't want to dress up? That's OK, wear something comfortable, but avoid busy patterns that draw attention away from your face.

 

Casual Portraits

After your CLASSIC outfit, you're ready to get casual! Anything goes, from your best torn jeans to your tux or prom dress... Bolder colors or trendy clothing are OK. Got your own ideas? We'll do our best to create them for you.

Styles change and that's okay, because these images show you the way you really are today. Photography captures your story, so be yourself.

Black & White

Select clothing with lighter or the darker tones to provide good contrast in your B&W portraits.

Very Important Suggestions

Glasses - Wear them if you ALWAYS wear them. Our artist can correct most distortion and glass glare on your portraits, but we recommend you have the lenses removed or ask your optometrist for empty frames. Contacts are not a problem.

Blemishes - No need to worry. Our professional retouchers will eliminate them. Also, we have cover-up at the studio for your use.

Sunburn - A little tan is great! Sunburn is not. Avoid the sun & all artificial tanning for several days before your session. Corrective art may help correct this problem but it will be at an additional charge. Call to reschedule if you have a severe sunburn.

Shaving - Guys, remember to shave before your session. Retouching can't remove what the razor can.

Hair/Makeup - You want to look natural. If you're looking for a new hair style, experiment before the day of your session. Also avoid changing to a new hair style at least 2 weeks prior to your photo session. If you don't like it, then you may have to wait before it grows to a manageable length. Do not cut or change your hair style after your photo session either until you have had the opportunity to view your photographs. To enhance your features under studio lighting use a little more makeup than usual. Powder is helpful to reduce shine. Make sure to bring your makeup with you. If you usually don't wear makeup, it's a good idea to wear some powder to smooth skin tones, and mascara to enhance your eyes. Your hands & fingernails may show in some of your poses. They should be clean & trimmed.

Clothing Wrinkles - Make sure your clothing is exactly how you want it to appear. It's expensive to remove wrinkles on the photograph. We suggest you bring your clothing in on hangers to reduce any wrinkle problems.

Braces - Our computer experts can remove the braces for an extra charge, and it's worth it if you want to show a beautiful smile. Ask us for details.

After we've completed your senior's portrait order, we invite you to let us create your family portrait. This is a perfect time to update your family portrait. Once your senior moves from your home, it gets harder and harder to get everyone in the same place at the same time! We'll photograph you outdoors, or in our studio. You have Questions, We have Answers

WHAT IF I wake up on the morning of my session with a brand new blemish?

Don't worry! We have the miracle of RETOUCHING. In your final photos, your skin will look terrific. We can even remove or reduce freckles and moles, but would only do it with your permission. We don't want to change the real YOU!

WHAT IF I never wear any make-up?

If you never wear makeup, don't feel you need to start now. However, even minimal make-up can blend skin tones and accent your best features.

WHAT IF I always wear sleeveless clothing?

There are many reasons why we recommend that you do not wear sleeveless clothing for your classic poses. Bare arms draw attention away from the face and can appear larger in photographs. Also, you'll want at least one pose with a timeless look. But these are your portraits, so anything goes!

WHAT IF I want to get a really great tan for my pictures?

A little tan is fine. A sunburn is not. However, for that "timeless" look, you may want to hold back on that deep tan until after your senior portrait is taken. Also, while we can reduce the redness of a sunburn, it will cost extra to do it.

WHAT IF I want to look slimmer than I am?

Who doesn't! Here are some tips to assure you look as slim as you can. Stick with solids and avoid horizontal lines in clothing. Wearing an outfit with all the same tones will lengthen your look. Wearing medium to long sleeves will help. Medium to darker colors will also make you look slimmer. For example, in choosing jeans or pants, go with the darker tone. If you're not sure what will work best, bring extra outfits to your session and we'll help you choose. This is a common question and we are happy to help!

WHAT IF I want to add to or change the session I have already arranged with the studio?

If you want to be photographed in more outfits or add another session, please call first. We want to make sure that there is enough time reserved in our schedule to accommodate your needs.

WHAT IF it rains on the day of my outdoors session?

We've reserved Thursday afternoons for rain date sessions. We'll set your rain date when we schedule your outdoor session.

WHAT IF I have some really different ideas for my senior pictures?

Different can be good! You're welcome to bring examples of poses you like. Or schedule a personal consultation and we can talk about your ideas. We can work together to create portraits that truly reflect your style and personality. This is YOUR TIME to shine!

WHAT IF I am nervous about having my pictures taken?

Good preparation is the key to being relaxed. Make your clothing selections ahead of time and make sure each outfit is clean and ironed. Choose the accessories you need and put them with your outfits so you don't forget them the day of the session. Actually, the most difficult part is thinking about it. Once you arrive at the studio, we will guide you through everything. Just be yourself! Many seniors say that it is so much easier than they thought it would be, and fun too! You have chosen a studio that really cares about you and your experience with senior photography.
